i did a bunch of cleaning today. i woke up super early for no reason. i guess i'm used to it for work. but it was saturday and i was up at 6am. i went back to sleep since i realized what day it was. i finally got up around 9am and started cleaning the house. i vacuumed, did laundry, cleaned my room, and played music.

i've been looking for a workout bench and some dumbbells. i wanna start working out in my garage since i dont go to the gym anymore. i've been eating salads for the past 2 weeks. my goal is to drop 30 lbs by march. that's when we go to thailand. they dont sell clothes in xxl so i need to drop down. i dont plan on bringing a bunch of clothes. i'm just gonna buy what i need over there.

i stayed at work extra late today. it rained and traffic was horrible so i just decided to do some overtime.

and i finally started my x-mas shopping. got gifts for my nephew, bro and sis-in-law. now i just gotta buy gifts for mom, dad, and sis. hopefully i'll be done tomorrow but i doubt it.

i plan on doing a bunch of housework tomorrow. clean my room, clean the music room, clean the bathroom, clean the garage.

i bought some bleach for my hair. i plan on doing half of it blonde. the left half. hahaha. we'll see how that goes.

today felt like such a long day. it rained this morning. i left my house earlier than usual but i got to work later than normal. damn the rain and bad drivers.

had the luncheon/banquet at work today. this is the first time the food was actually good. we had salted pepper chicken wings, beef broccoli, salad, and noodles. i need to thank whoever chose to order that food.

left work early to go tailgate at the stadium. today was the last chargers home game for the season. played a bunch of games of beer pong. mari got pretty faded and started talking shit to some dude when we went in line for the bathroom. it was getting ridiculous. i had to tell her to calm down. it was funny though. i love tailgating. it's so much fun.

met up with my cousin raymond after the game. he's from the bay so he was rooting for the niners. he was texting me during the game "i'll see you after the niners win". and i responded with "i guess i wont be seeing you tonight". hahahaha.

i'm so hungry right now. debating if i should just sleep or grab a quick snap. hmmmm....

twenty one

i had a lot of fun today at work. i played alot of music. i took a bunch of breaks and had jam sessions. there's this girl, andie, who i use to jam with all the time but things get busy at work so we don't get a chance to sometimes. it's been about 3 or 4 months since the last time we jammed. and today was a good session. it was a little hard to play the songs we normally play because i always had the guitar before. now i only play the ukulele. but we made it work. and later on i had another jam sesh with junko. usually i'm the one inviting her to go and jam but this time she invited me. so i knew she actually wanted to play. sometimes i feel like im forcing her but not this time. she's a fun girl.

i had intentions to go meet up with my cousin who is in town. but i got home around 930pm and i still had to pack all the things for the tailgate tomorrow so i decided not to go. i'll see him at the game tomorrow anyways. im trying to get to work extra early tomorrow because im leaving extra early to go to the game. and i just found out that we're having a luncheon/banquet tomorrow so i gotta do all my work early.

me and andie also got asked to play at the luncheon tomorrow but luckily andie said that she had to leave early as well. we woulda played "baby" by justin bieber. hahahaha.

too tired to write about anything. there wasn't really much to write about in the first place. work, then bowling and now i'm home. won 3 out of 4 games in bowling today. first two games were money. the 3rd game, i got tired and couldn't throw the ball very well. my middle finger started hurting in the first game also. my wrist feels really sore right now. it'll probably be super sore tomorrow morning.

trying to think of songs to cover on the uke. tried playing "best of me" by starting line. i need to work on it. currently learning "santeria" by sublime.

forgot to blog the past few days. it's been kinda hectic and fun. didn't do anything crazy last friday. just went to work and stayed in cuz i had the company billiards tournament the next morning.

the tourney started at 9am on saturday. it lasted all the way up until 5pm. so it felt like a long day. we played the team tournament first. my team went the distance in the first round. it was a best of 7 series and we had to use all 7 games. we ended up losing but it was a close match. our opponents were all guys who played in a league. we only had one guy on our team that played in a league. in the singles competition, i beat 3 players and advanced to the quarter finals. in that round i had to play my own teammate. it was a best of 3 series and we took that game to the limit also. he won the first game and then i rallied back and took the second game. in the third game, i had a chance to win it but i choked on a easy shot and he took it from there. at least i lost to my own teammate, someone i like. and it turns out my teammate ended up running the gauntlet and took the singles title!!!! i was so proud of him. we spent endless hours in my garage practicing and it payed off for one of us. we ended up celebrating at toro sushi after for some sake bombs. we had said in the last team practice that if any one of us wins, we would do sake bombs. and sure enough, we did!!!!

after toro sushi on saturday night, i went home and relaxed for a bit before i had to go to eastlake tavern to celebrate abie's b-day. got to see some old high school friends that i haven't seen in a long time. it was fun but i didn't even feel like drinking cuz we ate so much sushi and the sake bombs were creeping up on me.

sunday was the chargers game and they creamed the chiefs. it was very satisfying, since the chiefs are in first place right now. if they lose one more, we take over first place. there's only 3 games left in the season so we gotta handle business. i think we can pull it off and head into the playoffs.

today felt like a long day too. i left my house at 730am and didn't get home til 930 pm. i did overtime at work and then headed straight to my parents place so we could go visit my grandma in the hospital. she's in a lot better shape now. i'm glad to see her getting better. hopefully she gets her strength back and is able to get out of the hospital soon.

met up with joel for lunch today. we went to habaneros and i got the pollo asado burrito. i always get that when i'm there. it's probably the best pollo asado burrito i've had compared to any other place i've gotten it at. but when i got back to work, i felt all cold. it was a weird feeling. it was almost like the chills. i was starting to feel weak and it was hard to concentrate. it might just be food coma kickin in. i did have trouble finishing the burrito.

junko cme over again tonight after work. she brought over dinner. kfc. good call. and then we played pool afterwards. we played for like 4 hours. it was so much fun that it felt like 30 mins. she's really starting to open up to me. she's dancing and singing in front of me. before she wouldn't even talk to me. this is a huge turn around. i have no idea what i'm doing different. i guess she just finally gave in and when she did, she realized that i'm not that bad. hahaha. she's a lot of fun to be around. maybe this could be the start of something special?

seventeen

went on my daily run today at my lunch break at work but i didn't do my half mile uphill run. i did the 2 mile flat ground and it feels so easy compared to the uphill one. i know the distance is way more but that incline is just killer. i'm huffing and puffing even before halfway up that hill. but i did that 2 miles and i still had energy to go for some more. tomorrow i'll do that hill again and see if i can get further.

tonight was probably our best night of bowling as a team. sometimes one of us is in a slump and the rest of the team has to carry them. sometimes it's two of us in a slump and one person carrying the whole team. tonight, everybody was on fire. that's the first time that that's ever happened. i felt so good bowling tonight. my 2 handed approach is coming along. i think i injured my wrist so much that i can't carry a 16 lb. ball with one hand anymore. i like this two handed approach though. it's unique.

tomorrow we play pool again. just me and junko, since we're the worst on our team. we need the most work. the other guys can carry their own weight but me and junko have a lot of work cut out for us.

sixteen

played pool with my team today after work. this was the first time we've all played together. it's either two of us or sometimes three. our tournament is this saturday and i can honestly say that i'm not ready. i dont think i'll win anything cuz i feel like i'm the worst player on the team. at least i have my own table that i can practice on.

i dont feel like going to sleep. i've been watching pool videos for quite some time now and i want go to my table and actually practice. but i know i have work tomorrow and i gotta get up early cuz i need to leave early. bowling league is tomorrow. tuesdays are the new fridays for me. it's my fun day. looking forward to tomorrow.

went to the chargers game today. got pretty faded during the tailgate. played alot of beer pong and drank even more. also had good grub. the game itself was horrible. i dont have much to say about it. the chargers got man handled in all phases of the game. rivers basically took himself out the mvp race with that performance. the place was packed with raider fans. i hate to say that charger fans are the worst....but they are. there should be no reason that the stadium has more fans from the opposing team than the home team. it's just pathetic.

our friends got their car broken into and their shiite stolen while we were at the game. they got all their dj equipment taken. that sucks so bad. that might be $3,000+ worth of equipment gone. i hate people who steal.

came home and played some playstation move. tried archery for the first time and it was super fun. i might play again tomorrow. it's tough to get the hang of but i like it. my arm was starting to get sore in the middle of playing. i'm not used to that type of motion.

i can tell this week is gonna be a long week. effff me.

i had intentions to go into work today for some overtime. but it felt so good to sleep in. got up around 10am and decided to stop by my parents to drop something off real quick. a 5 min trip turned into 5 hours. my parents asked to drive them to the hospital to see my grandma. and then we went to go buy food. and then my mom wanted to go shopping.

my grandma is not in good shape. when we visited her earlier today, she kept going in and out of consciousness. she couldn't even talk. she was just groaning in pain. i'm not even sure if she recognized me. she had this dazed look. it could possibly be all the medication. i feel so bad for her.

my friend christine came over today for a little jam sesh. she's so beautiful. inside and out. and her voice is amazing. i love the fact that i can be myself around her. she's very comfortable with the crazy things i do. other girls get offended but she laughs and joins the madness. it's fun to have a friend like that. i cherish our friendship. <3

thirteen

once again i woke up super late. i had this feeling that it was late but not as late as it really was. when i got up and looked at the clock i was expecting to see 745 or something. but in reality it was 857. i wanted to be in at work by 830. hahahaha. oh well.

tonight was the vh1 divas show at miramar. the line to get in was suuuuuper long. i swear it was at least 2 miles. it was a giant clusterfuck. i was expecting some sort of order since it was on a miltary base but it was the worst concert entrance experience ever. all the other concerts i've been to had multiple entrances so it wasnt one giant mess to get in. this one was only one entrance. 15,000+ people + one entrance = no bueno. but i got to see katy perry, nicki minaj, and sugarland. paramore performed via satelite tv. booooo! there was some fine print on the website but not on the actual poster. i would have been pissed if i went exclusively for them. we took off early cuz it was cold as shiite. we wanted to see keri hilson but she was gona be last and there would have been a giant mess trying to get out. so we bounced early to avoid the traffic. i think that was the smartest thing we did all night. hahahaha. and we also ran into our buddy, who is a manager of some catering company. he was the one in charge of all the food stands there. he could have hooked us up with allthe food but we didn't see him until after we were done eating. oh well.

all in all, tonight was a really good night. here's to tomorrow.

today felt like such a long day at work. i hate coming in late cuz that means i have to stay super late. oh well.

junko came over today after work. she's that cute japanese girl that works with me. i have tried for so long for her to go out with me. she's rejected me time and time again. but for some reason, she decided to come over. maybe it's cuz i was one of the few people that visited her while she was in the hospital. i even gave her a ukulele. but anyways, she came over to play some pool. i cooked dinner tonight. we had steak, chicken, rice and veggies. she's starting to open up and trust me. before she would hardly talk to me. now she's down to hang out and do stuff. i remmeber her telling that she didn't want to associate with people at work because it always leads to drama. my rebuttle was that we spend most of our waking hours at work and why not try to make it a little more pleasant by befriending the people around you. it might make the day go by faster and easier. but yeah, we had dinner and played pool for about 2 hours or so. she is a ot better than i expected. she said she sucked and i've played with other girls before but she was actualy good. almost as good as me. she would probably be better than me if i didnt have a table.

tomorrow is the sugarland concert. paramore, katy perry, nicki minaj, keri hilson plus more are playing for the troops. it's the vh1 divas show. it sounds pretty gay but i don't care and im super stoked for the show. i'm not sure how it's gonna work out cuz it's on the military base and i can't get on without a sponsor. my buddy richard said we could meet at my work and he could drive from there but i tried calling him today to confirm but no answer. i'll leave him a message in a bit. otherwise i have no means of getting in. hopefully everything works out.

today was one of the funnest days at work. i work up super late and got in to work around 930am. but when i got to my desk i got a pleasant surprise. i had a new neighbor. junko. she's this cute, little japanese girl. she was gone from work for like 6 months because she had some sort of tumor growing inside her so she had o have surgeries to have them removed. plus recovery time. so i havent seen her in a few months. i visited her in the hospital a little while back. but i was sooooo stoked to have her sitting in the desk in front of me. the whole time she was there felt like an hour or two. it was just good times. but as soon as she left, the day slowed down to a snails pace. the last half hour of work felt like 6 hours. hahahaha. talk about the other side of the spectrum.

i also invited junko to my house tomorrow night to play some pool. she has always rejected me in the past but this time she said yes. wooooo hooooooo! this is because i asked her to join my pool team for our work tournament. one of my teammates had to bail so i asked her to fill the spot. luckily she's down!!!!


after work i went to my parents house so we could visit my grandma in the hospital. she's not in good shape. i love her so much. she was just struggling to breathe. she was even tied down to the bed because she kept ripping the tubes out of her face. her hands were covered in blood and she asked me to remove the ties so she could free her hands. and when i told her i'm not allowed to, she gave me this pissed off look. i felt so bad that i couldn't untie her hands. i really wanted to but it was for her own good. i wanted to cry. i'm praying that she'll be ok.
